A Pantheon of Conroy Center Author Visits in November

The nonprofit Pat Conroy Literary Center offers an immersive guided experience into the writing and teaching life of Pat Conroy (1945-2016), the beloved author of The Water Is Wide, The Great Santini, The Prince of Tides, and more. Located at 601 Bladen Street in historic downtown Beaufort, the Conroy Center is open to the public from noon to 4:00 p.m. from Thursday through Sunday, or other times by appointment.

In addition to offering guided tours through the museum galleries, the Conroy Center also hosts a robust calendar of visiting author events. This November, the Conroy Center will feature the following authors:

November 2, 5:00 p.m.
An evening with bestselling novelist and humor writer Maddie Dawson, author of Snap Out of It. Free in-person event at the Conroy Center. Please call 843-379-7025 to reserve a seat in advance. Books available for sale and signing.

November 9, 6:00 p.m.
Virtual open mic night featuring debut short story collection author Halle Hill, author of Good Women, and short readings by other authors. November 13, 5:00 p.m.
