2026 Beaufort Memorial Employee Service Awards

More than 200 Beaufort Memorial employees with a combined total of 2,255 years of service received their flowers at the organization’s annual Employee Service Awards in October.

Beaufort Memorial honored a total of 201 employees celebrating 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and 35 years of service at the growing organization.

The event, held Oct. 1, saw 87 employees celebrating 5 years, 53 celebrating 10 years, 19 celebrating 15 years, 19 celebrating 20 years, 14 celebrating 25 years, 8 celebrating 30 years and 1 employee celebrating 35 years of service.

The Employee Service Awards are an example of the deep roots Beaufort Memorial has to its community, said President and CEO Russell Baxley – who was one of the employees celebrating a 10-year milestone at the organization.

“Bricks and mortar, new buildings and new technology help us grow, but they aren’t what make Beaufort Memorial special – the heart of this organization has always been the people within our four walls,”

Baxley said. “The employees we’re honoring tonight have brought commitment and compassion that has not just shaped Beaufort Memorial, but the health of this community.”

Career milestones spanning decades aren’t very common, especially in the healthcare industry, he added.

“In today’s world, celebrating 10, 20 or 35 years at a single organization is truly remarkable, and it speaks to the passion that you as employees have for serving others,” he said. “We are proud to recognize the people who have devoted these years of their lives to caring for others.”
