Conroy Center Hosts Three Local Writers in July

The nonprofit Pat Conroy Literary Center is open for free guided tours of exhibits related to the writing and teaching life of bestselling author Pat Conroy from Thursday through Sunday, noon to 4:00 p.m., at 601 Bladen Street in downtown Beaufort. In July, the Conroy Center will host a trio of free, public events highlighting historical novelist Kim Poovy, poet Elizabeth Robin, and thriller writer Kerry Peresta, all of whom live here in Beaufort County.

JULY 12, 6:00 p.m.
The Conroy Center (601 Bladen St.) will host an evening with Kim Poovey, author of the historical novel Shadows of the Moss, in conversation with the Center’s executive director Jonathan Haupt.
