How Beaufort Young Life Is Making a Difference, One Relationship at a Time

Beaufort Young Life is a local Christian organization with a simple but powerful mission: to introduce adolescents to Jesus Christ and walk alongside them as they grow in faith. Rooted in relationships, Young Life meets students exactly where they are—both physically and emotionally—building trust long before conversations ever turn serious.

In Beaufort, that means caring adult volunteers showing up in everyday places teens already spend their time: lunchrooms, on athletic sidelines, over milkshakes at Sonic, or simply hanging out and listening. Young Life believes kids don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care, and through genuine connection, mentors have the privilege of making a lasting impact on the lives of local teenagers.

Each week, Young Life also hosts gatherings filled with laughter, friendship, and a strong sense of belonging. These nights create a welcoming space where students can relax, have fun, and hear about a God who loves them exactly as they are. The goal is simple: meet kids where they are and invite them into something meaningful.

Beaufort Young Life serves students through three distinct ministries designed to support teens at every stage:
• Young Life for high school students
• WyldLife for middle school students
• YoungLives for adolescent parents and their children

To support this life-changing work, the community is invited to one of the most anticipated social events of the season: the Annual Holly Konoza and William Trask Memorial Trivia Night, taking place March 7. The evening promises three lively rounds of trivia, a silent auction, creative team costumes and table décor, and plenty of classic Young Life fun.

Every dollar raised directly supports local kids and families right here in Beaufort. It’s a night of friendly competition with a meaningful purpose—bringing people together to support a ministry that continues to make a difference, one relationship at a time.
