2025 South Carolina Female Small Business Person of the Year!

Beaufort is beaming with pride as we congratulate Rita Wilson, co-owner and operator of AlphaGraphics Beaufort, on being named the 2025 South Carolina Female Small Business Person of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).

Rita and her husband, Barry Wilson, are the driving force behind AlphaGraphics Beaufort, a trusted local business known for its high-impact marketing services and print solutions serving Beaufort, Bluffton, Hilton Head, and the surrounding Lowcountry. With decades of combined marketing experience, the Wilsons have built a company focused on results and return on investment for their customers.

The SBA’s South Carolina District Office presented the award to Rita during a celebratory luncheon on Friday, May 9, held in Columbia, SC, as part of the 12th Annual Small Business Week Conference. She was joined at the ceremony by Michele Abraham, State Director of the SC Small Business Development Center (SBDC), and Melissa Lindler, SBA South Carolina District Director. Rita was proudly nominated by Martin Goodman of the SBDC Beaufort office, a longtime supporter of local entrepreneurs.

Rita’s recognition by the SBA is not only a personal milestone but also a testament to the power of small business leadership in our community. We join the South Carolina House of Representatives and our entire region in honoring her innovation, determination, and impact.
