Pop‑Up Southern Tea Room
Nine Days of Hospitality, Tradition, and Missions Support to Beaufort

This May, the Lowcountry will experience a unique blend of Southern charm, hospitality, and purpose as Praise Assembly hosts a 9‑day Pop‑Up Southern Tea Room, a limited‑hours luncheon event designed to offer guests a warm, elegant, and memorable dining experience, all while raising funds for local and global missions.
From May 26 – June 5, 2026 (excluding the weekend), from 11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., guests will step into a beautifully curated space, featuring lace‑draped tables, vintage china, homemade Southern recipes, and a welcoming atmosphere reminiscent of classic Lowcountry tradition. The Tea Room provides a rare opportunity for the community to slow down, savor a meal, and enjoy the kind of hospitality that feels like home.
A LUNCHEON WITH A PURPOSE
While the Tea Room offers a charming dining experience, its mission reaches far beyond the table. All proceeds support the church’s missions, helping fund ministries and missionaries who are actively sharing the Gospel, and meeting needs locally and around the world.
“We look at this Tea Room as “Every Plate Has a Purpose”, and we mean it. Every meal that will be served in the Tea Room can become a seed planted in someone’s life — here in Beaufort and around the world. It will be incredible to watch something as simple as hospitality turn into real, lasting impact,” said Amanda Hughes, discipleship pastor at Praise Assembly.
Anchored by Psalm 96:3, “Declare His glory among the nations, His marvelous deeds among all peoples,” the Tea Room serves as both a celebration of hospitality and a tangible expression of the church’s commitment to global outreach.
INTRODUCING THE HEAVENLY MISSIONS BOUTIQUE
Also happening is the Heavenly Missions Boutique, a pop‑up gift shop filled with curated treasures and trinkets of all kinds. Guests can browse charming keepsakes, handcrafted items, and thoughtful gifts, to include homemade jams, pickles, and bread; with every purchase directly supporting missions. The boutique extends the Tea Room experience, allowing guests to take home a piece of beauty while contributing to a meaningful cause.
POWERED BY VOLUNTEERS
The Tea Room is made possible by more than 75 volunteers who prepare food, serve guests, decorate, bake, greet, and create the warm environment the event is striving to be known for. Their dedication reflects the heart of the church: serving with joy, generosity, and excellence.
A COMMUNITY INVITATION
The desire is that the Tea Room will become a beloved Beaufort tradition, as it is in Charleston, a place where hospitality meets purpose. Guests leave refreshed, encouraged, and connected, knowing their participation helps make a local and global impact.
