The nonprofit Pat Conroy Literary Center announces its10th annual March Forth event. This event commemorates the anniversary of best-selling novelist Pat Conroy’s passing on March 4th, 2016 with programs on the major themes of his writing and teaching life, including social justice, inclusivity, conservation, education, and storytelling.
Programs will be held in Beaufort, Bluffton, Charleston, Daufuskie Island, Okatie, and St. Helena Island.

March Forth at Penn Center, St. Helena Island, featuring nature walks, lunch, Robert Smalls descendent Michael Moore, author of Freedom on the The Sea and Disney/Marvel screenwriter Rob Edwards, author of the graphic novel Defiant, with a talk by Gullah celebrity chef Sallie Ann Robinson.
