Palmetto Animal League
Share the Holiday Spirit with Shelter Pets
Palmetto Animal League is hosting a Holiday Open House at their adoption center in Okatie Saturday, December 13 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Guests are invited to drop by for cookies, hot cocoa, coffee, and good cheer.
“The holiday season holds special meaning for all of us at PAL,” says PAL President Amy Campanini. “While our adoption center is a place of new beginnings year-round, the elevated feeling of hope is visible in every furry face and felt in the hearts of everyone who visits.”
PAL is waiving adoption fees for cats, kittens, and adult dogs during the event as a part of their monthlong Season of Second Chances.
“If you’re hoping to find your next great love this holiday season, PAL’s Open House is the perfect opportunity,” says Campanini. “And if you can’t adopt, that’s ok. You can still make a difference! Make plans to drop by with a special gift to help make the holidays a little brighter for a homeless pet.”
The animals at PAL’s no-kill adoption center love cat and dog food, toys, treats, pet beds, and cozy blankets. Each item donated will make a forgotten cat or dog feel special this holiday season.
